The Kinesiology and Health Science (KHS) department produces cutting-edge research in eight well-equipped laboratories to advance the understanding of human movement and motor behavior during physical activity. With nationally recognized faculty and innovative research methods, KHS offers multiple graduate-level programs, including a Master of Science in Health and Human movement, Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and a Pathokinesiology Specialization within the Interdisciplinary PhD in Disability Disciplines. Faculty aligned with the disciplines of Motor Behavior, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sport Psychology, Motor Control, Sports Medicine and Health Promotion provide research and teaching opportunities for doctoral and master’s degree students.
