HPER Building & Sport Fields


North view of HPER buildingThe HPER Building contains approximately 50,000-square-feet of programming space and houses the KHS Academic Department. The KHS main office, faculty and advisor offices, two conference rooms plus teaching/research laboratories make up the KHS facility unit on the main floor. The Exercise Physiology, Body Composition, Motor Rehabilitation and Learning and the Sensory Motor Behavior Laboratories are located on the ground floor while the Anatomical Kinesiology and the Biomechanics & Motion Analysis laboratories are on the second floor. There are nine classrooms that seat from 25-110 students. Four classrooms have full technology while one also is equipped for interactive broadcast. There are three gymnasiums, one dance studio, a multipurpose gymnasium, two swimming pools, a 2500 square foot weight room, six racquetball courts and locker rooms.

Adjacent to the KHS building is a turf outdoor facility used for activity classes, club sports and intramurals. Eight outdoor tennis courts complete the KHS complex.
